Pricing above is good through New Years Eve 2011 and subject to change thereafter.  Also note that if
you need your quilt by Christmas, it will need to be in our studio by December 5th.

(A) Edge-to-Edge means quilting from one edge of the quilt to the other - no stitch-in-the-ditch or any
stops and starts.  It takes less time to complete a quilt.  However, more intricate or dense patterns are
more expensive because they are more time consuming.

(B) Semi-Custom quilting usually includes an edge-to-edge design in the body of the quilt and a
different design on the border(s) of the quilt.

(C) Custom quilting includes quilting separate designs in each block of the quilt and separate border
and/or sashing treatments.

(D) Heirloom quilting is the most expensive because it is very time consuming to accomplish and
much more detailed.  This would include individual block quilting, fancy quilting, such as feather
designs, stitch-in-the-ditch, freehand, very dense quilting, separate border treatments, and/or
trapunto.

The deposit for quilting services is $40, with balance due at completion.  (Of course on a baby quilt
edge-to-edge only, that means the deposit will render the balance due as zero.)  For clients who
prefer to pay the entire amount up front (for quilts above crib/baby size) we offer a 10% discount.
Please
contact us for a coupon code for this.

Before quilting is started, you will be asked to review your quote from us and ask any questions; then
give approval to proceed based on the quote.  The final price will not exceed our quote, regardless of
the time and materials involved.

We know how there are last minute rushes for you during holiday seasons.  We are here to help you.
We offer a RUSH service of 25% if your quilt is absolutely needed within 5-10 days.

We do NOT add extra pricing for thread, set-up, or bobbins.  However, if there are any of the quilt
preparations with which you need assistance such as pressing, seaming backing, or correcting wavy
borders, etc., we will be happy to do those for you at a rate of $20 per hour (minimum 2 hours.)

Return shipping will generally run between $10 and $20 in the continental USA and to APO boxes.
When you send your quilt to our studio, you will then have an idea of what the cost of the return
shipping will be.  Local customers are welcome to contact us for an appointment to drop off, consult,
and then pick up their quilts (no shipping charges).
